Colts New Season Information

Welcome to the new season. We are proceeding with our Clubmark application and will be inspected in the early season.

Many younger players are starting earlier this year. It can be very cold early season evenings in just shirtsleeves, wrap up - don't worry about style or whites.

Signing-on-night is on Tuesday 22nd March from 7- 9pm in the clubhouse.  Trysports will be selling cricket kit, come late to avoid the rush!  Membership for the year remains at £12.50 for juniors with a popular family membership at £25. The bar will be open.

You are reminded that the use of the club's nets outside normal hours is to be encouraged, but a helmet or a safety ball must be used. For newcomers  - parents leave their cars in front of the gates if they are locked and walk to the nets. The nets can also be accessed from Kingston or Aston along the Moors footpath.

Practice for NEW Kwik Cricketers is on Tuesdays at 6.30pm from 19th April.

Training for all last years players under 13s, including girls will start earlier on Tuesday 29th March at 6.30pm prompt.

GIRLS CRICKET. Alice has agreed to be coach again and we have a U13 side entered in the league

I am again looking for a volunteer bar manager during training on Tuesday evenings, it is more pleasant in the bar than in your car! The club to modernise its facilities needs the money. Let me know if you have any good fund raising schemes, the ground can be hired for company games!

U15 training starts on Wednesday, 31st March from 6.00pm onwards, games being on Mondays, as are U17 games. The U17s are advised they train with the senior side on Thurdays, 1st session is 7th April. We are again fielding a Saturday 3rd XI this year in which it is hoped many senior colts will play. Of course U17s can go to U15 training if you so wish.
