ASTON ROWANT YOUTH CRICKET RULES AND CODES OF CONDUCT Jan 2005 Juniors membership is governed by the same rules as senior membership. A copy of these rules is kept in the clubhouse & on our website. In addition because of the age of the players, all Juniors & parents/guardians must agree to the following additional rules and codes as a condition of membership. You must accept that any breach of any of the rules below is a serious matter and may result in you being formally warned as to future conduct, suspended or immediately banned from future membership of the club by the juniors' secretary. In the event that parents consider this action unfair they may appeal to the next general committee meeting, but the junior remains banned in the interim. No membership monies will be refunded. Aston Rowant Cricket Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members. The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times show respect and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with the juniors' secretary. 1. Juniors agree to obey the reasonable instructions of officials appointed by the club. All members must play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions. All members must respect opponents 2. In the event of parent(s) not being contactable, they give permission for an ARCC official to consent to emergency medical treatment on their behalf. 3. Parents must inform the club of any Junior with a medical condition, or pre-existing injury in writing if the treatment requires supervision. This may include conditions which need medical treatment e.g. diabetes. 4. Parents must consent if they are absent, to their son/daughter travelling to and from matches in a motor vehicle driven by an ARCC official, another player's parent or for U17s, another player who has passed his test and is insured. 5. Parents must note that club officials will at all times take reasonable care of their child and his/her effects. However if he/she has an accident or suffers loss or damage to his/her effects, which is not as a result of any lack of reasonable care on the officials' part, they will not be held liable beyond the terms of the insurance of ARCC. The club regards personal accident and personal property insurance as the responsibility of players or their parents. 6. Juniors will wear helmets according to ECB youth players' rules as posted on the ARCC website; a written waiver is required from parents otherwise. Boxes for male players must be worn. Members must wear suitable kit for training and match sessions, as agreed with the coach/team manager. 7. Your behaviour must not disturb or cause annoyance to others. Your behaviour MUST not risk injury to yourself or others. 8. ECB fast bowling directives will be followed by all juniors. 9. Members must pay any fees for training or events promptly. 10. Junior members are not allowed to smoke on club premises or whilst representing the club at competitions. 11. Junior members are not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the club premises or whilst representing the club. |
